GARDEN CONSULTATIONS
Every garden transformation begins with a walk through the landscape.
During our consultation, we will explore how your property can evolve into a natural and resilient ecosystem that supports both beauty and biodiversity. Together we will:
Walk your property and observe its unique microclimates - areas of sunlight, different soil types and existing plant communities.
Discuss your goals for function, habitat, beauty and seasonal interest.
Identify opportunities for native and pollinator plantings, meadow spaces.
Imagine spaces for outdoor seating areas, play structures and naturalistic stone walls that add function and dynamism to your yard.
Offer initial design direction and practical next steps for your landscape.
Most consultations last between 60-90 minutes and provide a clear path forward for your landscape and gardens.

ABOUT JENNIFER
Jennifer Founded Gardener on the Hill with a simple conviction that the landscapes and gardens should work with nature - not against it. With over 20 years of experience in ecological landscape design and care, she has helped hundred of homeowners across Greater Boston transform conventional yards into thriving native habitats that are not only beautiful, but enjoyable to be in.
Being a certified Permaculture Landscape Designer and trained in Pollinator Stewardship at Mass Amherst, Jennifer brings a deep understanding of New England ecology to every project. Her designs honor the land's natural character while creating spaces of genuine beauty, biodiversity and function.
Whether restoring a neglected backyard or reimagining an estate landscape, Jennifer approaches each garden as a living system and opportunity- one that nurtures the environment it belongs to, provides value to creatures that inhabit it, and lasting joy to those who tend it.
